It’s not like Santa Monica, this isn’t THE San Francisco Pier, it’s not even Pier 39.
It’s just one of many, as seen from a boat on its way out to Alcatraz. I like it. It’s symmetrical (almost). I like symmetrical things.
What’s not immediately obvious from the photo is how huge those tires are. Just look at the ladder in comparison.
