The lighting was good (here’s a place where harsh midday light actually works), but apparently everyone in Minnesota decided to visit this place that day. I very much wanted the cliche shot of entire place, to show of the symmetry of this garden. But people, you know, they just get in the way. So instead I found myself a spot in the corner and held my finger on the shutter waiting for a split second when everyone walked out of my frame.
