My good friend and client Monny recently asked me to take some photos of his designer eyewear store for publication in a magazine. The magazine had requested photos of the store itself and “action” shots of Monny at work.
To achieve the latter Monny invited a friend of his to act as a model. Because she wasn’t a professional model as was therefore quite shy around the camera I decided it would be best to take candid shots rather than ask her to pose. This meant there was no time for set up or carefully considered composition. I would have to shoot a lot of photos and then pick out the best ones later.
