I made a sort of un-official New Years resolution to take more photos, hence the sudden binge of photo posts. This time I was having some fun with HDR, a much over used, and over abused technique. However, I think it suits the subject matter of Victoria’s Fan Tan Alley perfectly.
If you are not aware, Fan Tan Alley is a street running off of Fisgard Street in downtown Victoria, BC. It is the heart of Victoria’s Chinatown, the oldest in all of Canada. It also happens to be the narrowest street in Canada.
I had not visited Victoria since I was a child, so it was very interesting to see it though the eyes of a “tourist”.
