This is one of my favourite shots from my time in Kyoto. The sunlight was landing in just the right way. I was so happy to have my super-wide lens which allowed me to stand right in front and still get everything in the frame. That was important because there were so many people around in this area that there’s no way I could have gotten an unobstructed view with a longer lens.
The price of a super-wide? a bit of lens flare, but it’s not too bad.
