I only got to spend a single evening in Madison, Wisconsin, but from what I saw it was a very charming little city.
If Wikipedia is to be believed (and it often isn’t), Madison is one of the safest cities in America, with almost Canadian levels of crime and murder.
It also has a very beautiful capitol building.
